About Bacon
Biography
Congressman Bacon grew up on a farm in Illinois. His childhood on a farm is one of the main reasons Bacon has worked so hard to represent farmers. After high school, Bacon attended Northern Illinois University. He graduated in 1984 with a bachelor's in political science. That same year, he married his loving wife, Angie. They now have 4 children together, along with 8 grandchildren. A year later, Bacon joined the U.S. Airforce and began his 30-year career in the military, eventually retiring as a Brigadier General. Bacon has no previous elected experience, as the House of Representatives is his first elected position.
